An exciting new release from Yggdrasil, Yokozuna Clash is Sumo themed and has several new feature to introduce to us. Yokozuna Clash has a fun theme to propose, and since it’s been designed by Yggdrasil Gaming, the quality of the graphics being used inside is also extremely high. I’m a big fan of the designs put forward by Yggdrasil Gaming in the past, and in Yokozuna Clash they do it again, this time with a story about Sumo warriors and monsters. The action in this game seems to take place near the fighting ring, where we see two sumo wrestlers (Riku and Haru), about to grapple, each one capable of adding some kind of random feature to the reels. Behind them, we get the five reels of the game. Besides the usual collection of symbols showing card suits, which don’t pay much, the game also has the Phoenix Bird, a Tiger, Turtles and Dragons. A game with 5 reels & 243 ways to win, Yokozuna Clash will pay at most 86,000 coins for a single round, which is a decent return actually, of 3449x total stake. The slot has medium volatility, a 96.3% RTP, so there are several positive things to note about it. As for the major features shown inside, there are wilds and multipliers, random features and Multi-Level Free Games. The smallest bet, while always using 25 coins, is worth $0.10 ($0.004 per coin). At its highest, the bet will reach $125 ($5 coins). Wild Logo symbols will do what they promise, being the ones to replace regular symbols in any new combinations they can. The two Sumo Wrestlers you see at the bottom will be feature triggers, at random moments. Riku (blue) gives you 1-2 wilds on the middle reels, while Haru (green) boosts wins by 2x or 3x. The feature which should get the most attention will be the one with free spins though. The trigger is the presence of a scatter on the reels 1 and 5, in the same round. One of the fighters will represent you, adding his powers (up to 4 wilds or up to 4x multipliers) to the free spins. You advance through four different levels, and you eventually reach a boss, which you need to defeat in order to get the biggest prize. Defeat the Demon boss as well, for a 2x multiplier applied to all wins you got so far. Yokozuna Clash looks like a fun game, with some unique features and excellent graphics.
